that's a very good question, pointed out by my boss. he finds my batch of promoters irresponsible, childish and only cares about commission. yay, commission is what everyone is going for. but there's not all in my mind. what i cared most was my sales number. i used to think that producing good sales number will get my boss an easier time to explain to his bosses. but i guess, that's isnt enough to be a good promoter. what am i gonna do? what is being responsible? i dont even know despite working since secondary two, in three different jobs. that's shameful. this could be that something i'm lacked off. many people would just say ;" why bother? it's just a part-time job!" yes, i do agree with them. but why did my boss took us so seriously and wanted responsibility out of us? could it all for our own good? my reason to take up part-time jobs; earn money while gaining experience. come to realised i've neglected the fact that being responsible is actually a VERY BIG part of gaining experience! so how can i become more responsible? i'd have ask my boss how, but i've seriously no guts. but he did answer by question so how.. " be alert, look out for faults and make amendments. be attentive to other brands' sales too, we'll have an easier time understand all customers' wants. pricing isnt everything. people will still buy, because they willing to hear us out for better product knowledge." his words are true, always. well, i shall just follow and learn how to be a more responsible promoter, as well as in person. it's gonna do me good! SMILES! :D ![]() Joanne |
